Why does my soap look slightly different from one bar to another?
OGMA Works soap is handmade in small batches, so each bar can have slight variations in colour, texture, shape and pattern. These variations are a natural part of handmade soap and make each batch unique.
How long should I let my soap dry between uses?
Allow your soap to drain and dry between uses. A well-draining soap dish will help extend the life of your bar.
How long does a bar of soap last?
The lifespan of a bar depends on how frequently it is used and how it is stored. Keeping the bar dry between uses will generally help it last longer.
Does handmade soap need to cure?
Yes. Our cold-process soaps are cured before being sold. The curing process allows excess water to evaporate and the soap to develop its finished characteristics.
Beard Care
How do I use OGMA Beard Oil?
Place a few drops into your palm, rub your hands together and work the oil through your beard and into the skin beneath it. Adjust the amount according to the length and thickness of your beard.
How do I use Beard Balm?
Use your thumbnail to scrape off a small amount from the tin and warm it between your fingers until it softens, then work it through your beard. Use more or less depending on the length of your beard and desired hold.
Can I use Beard Oil and Beard Balm together?
Yes. Beard oil is used to condition the beard and skin underneath, while beard balm can be used afterwards for additional styling and control.
Lip Balm
How much lip balm should I use?
Apply a small amount directly to the lips as needed.
How should I store my lip balm?
Keep it in a cool, dry place and avoid leaving it in excessive heat, such as inside a hot car.

Where can I find the ingredients?

Do you use fragrance oils?
No. We use essential oils to scent our products rather than synthetic fragrance oils.

Do your products contain nuts?
Some OGMA Works products contain nut-derived ingredients, such as sweet almond oil. Please check the ingredient list of each product before purchasing. If you have a known allergy or are unsure whether a product is suitable for you, please contact us before ordering.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Everyone's skin is different. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, we recommend checking the complete ingredient list and performing a small patch test before use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
Are your products vegan?
Not all OGMA Works products are vegan. Some products contain animal-derived ingredients such as beeswax or tallow. The ingredients for each product are listed on its product page.
